In January 2005, after a long
year of negotiations, we finally moved into the
town centre building that was to become FusionARTS
studios |

Originally Guildhall 2, the four storey
1960's building was neglected and very dirty. But the
up-side was that it was bang in the middle of the town
centre, right on the bus routes and in a prestigious
location above Heals furniture store.
In partnership with Kingston University,
and with aid from the Arts Council England and the Royal
Borough of Kingston, we quickly transformed the sad
building into a bright and vibrant space. The initial
23 studios were occupied within 3 months and the final
top floor phase of 9 studios was completed in April
2006. Kingston University's Art and Space MA occupies
a large space on the 3rd floor - and we collaborate
with them whenever the opportunity arises.
- There are 32 Studios over 4 floors
- The average size studio is
19' x 9' and costs £250pcm

- Each studio has good natural light, the majority of studios have full width windows
