For Sue Hoar colour is of primary importance. She enjoys exploring the fruit market in Kingston near Fusion Arts Studios for fruits of seductive colour for her expressionist still lifes. But, currently her focus is mainly on abstract painting. She finds the journey from blank canvas to totally unexpected result totally fascinating.

Sue studied art at both Richmond and Hounslow Further Education colleges and as well as at City Lit and has exhibited in Jersey's Harbour Gallery and locally at The Landmark Centre, Orleans House, Kingston Market House and as part of Richmond Arthouse.

She has work in private collections in The USA, Sweden, France and the UK as well as in the Channel Islands where she grew up.
