Background
Philippa Burne:

Philippa Burne, MFA (Creative Writing) Kingston University, London.

Philippa Burne has written television drama around the world in Australia, Croatia, Slovakia, Poland, Holland and the USA, published the novel Fishnets (Allen and Unwin, Australia, 1997) and short stories. She is completing a new novel, Artifice, and works as a freelance travel writer for the website viator.com.

During 2011 Philippa together with Stuart Bird inspired poetry in the local schoolchildren of Kingston to produce haiKU, three line poems on the streets of Kingston during the International Youth Arts Festival. Previously she has edited a youth arts magazine, Voiceworks; taught writing at university and community level; run her own art gallery; commissioned and bought artwork for public buildings; and been on the government side of arts funding.

She is open to commissions to write just about anything you need: catalogue essays, press releases, web content, funding applications, job applications, tv scripts, short films, feature films, dating profiles, love letters, autobiographies. She’s also happy to edit, proofread and recommend novels.
